Timing Your Move-Out Clean

Book the clean for after the movers are finished and the place is empty, and ideally at least a day before your final walkthrough. Cleaning around furniture means the areas underneath cannot be reached — which is exactly where inspections focus.

If you are moving into a new place as well, many clients book a move-in clean for the new home on the same day. Mention it when you book and we will coordinate both.

It matters more than people expect: you are inheriting someone else's bathroom, someone else's kitchen cabinets and whatever the previous tenant's "cleaning" consisted of. Doing it before your furniture arrives is far easier and cheaper than doing it after.
